Forming Co-Ed Softball Team in Surprise–January Start (Surprise, Az)

I am putting together a Sunday Co-Ed softball team for a league that starts in Surprise around the 1st week in January. I believe it is a "D" league, meaning that the teams have experience, but are by no means great.
The goal is to have fun, get know new people and with any luck, win a few games. I'm not looking for "overly competitive co-ed softball player" guy/girl, but at the same time I'm not looking for someone that has never played.
There are 10 players on the field at 1 time, and we need to have at least 5 of them be ladies. Naturally, I would like to go 5/5 with 2 rotating of each gender (so far we are up to 12) and at least 1 sub, 2 would be awesome. I was asked to be a sub on my current team and didn't want to do it. To much time and effort goes to planning the time to "hope" to play. But, if we can get 12 people committed, there would be no need for a sub. I can personally play: Pitcher, 3rd, 1st and catcher, but 1st base is my home. If you are interested in having some fun, meeting some people and getting a little excercise, this is the place. If you are a serial killer, that prays on Craigslist "activities" adds, this isn't for you.

Talent is good, effort is better and fun is mandatory. There will be a fee to cover the expense. The league is $320 and if we get 12 people, that's only $27/person for just the games. If we want to do T-shirts, I can set that up and try to get it done for as little as possible, but figure at least an additional $10. I also am going to try to get a local business to sponsor the team, so the expense might be less.

It would make sense to have at least 1 practice, so we know what we are all dealing with, both talent wise, and personality wise. The games will be on Sunday but that is all the info I have right now.

So, recapping, I'm putting together a co-ed team that plays in Surprise (Surprise Farms) on Sunday's. I'm all about having a good time, and am looking for people of the same mindset.
