Arizonans for a Democratic Economy

For the promotion of a democratic economy to ensure worker protections and greater access to political offices. Currently only the wealthy are able to pursue political goals (often at the expense of the everyday American), while the working class schmo has no say in the... governmental and economic policies passed by these wealthy individuals. With the crumbling of the U.S. economy the time has come to begin discussions on alternative ways of doing things. It is all too often that the working man takes the brunt of the rich man's arrogance and vanity. How often these days do you hear of CEOs and CFOs making millions while the workforce around them crumbles looking for their next meal? The question is, "IS THIS RIGHT? IS IT ETHICAL?" and the answer is a resounding "NO!" So join us to discuss better solutions to the economic and political problems of today. We will also be participating in direct actions to promote change. If you believe that capitalism, as it exists, is a paramount failure..then join. In addition, if you believe in freedom for ALL and not just the wealthy, then take part in this.

4th of July Celebration

This will be our first social gathering and we will be celebrating the 4th of July. There will be hot dogs, hamburgers, sides, and snacks. Beer and wine will be available for a $5.00 fee for any individual desiring to drink. You are also welcome to bring your own beverages if you so desire. We will be having some political films playing that are relevant to progressive causes if you want to just sit back and relax. Kids are also welcome, however there are two medium size dogs that will be at the party. Call or knock at door when you arrive.
