Greater Valley of the Sun Raw Food Group

Join the Valley of the Sun Raw Food Group, based in Phoenix,-Scottsdale! We're the largest, most active and fastest-growing raw food Meetup in Arizona, and we pride ourselves on being the most welcoming too!

A raw food diet is more nutritious, will make you feel better, help you lose weight, and give you more energy. It is not a fad diet. And it doesn't mean giving up tasty food (just ask those who attended our raw, vegan ice cream making party or the chef who created a raw chili that won an award at the Texas Chili Cookoff!)

We host and sponsor raw potlucks, classes, hike-picnics, and other special events.

Our events are always a time of amazingly delicious and incomparably healthy food, fun and new-found friendship. This group is for everyone who may be interested, not just the already committed pure raw foodist. (However, everything served at our events will be 100% raw!)

The organizers are relatively new to Phoenix. Asha Allen formerly owned the first raw superfoods store in North Texas where she hosted countless events featuring raw notables such as David Wolfe. Co-organizer David Roth is the co-author of two raw books by supermodel Carol Alt.
